What CM Hemant Soren thinks today, India thinks tomorrow: Supriyo

Ranchi: Heaping praise over Chief Minister Hemant Soren for his effective leadership amid the Corona crisis as many of his steps have set an example worth following for the others the ruling JMM went on to claim that ‘What the Chief Minister Hemant Soren thinks today, India thinks Tomorrow.

Addressing a press conference here he said that earlier it was said that What Bengal Thinks Today, India Thinks Tomorrow but at present somewhat the line has changed due to the works and far sightedness of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on June 30 announced to extend the benefits of Gariba Kalyan Yojana till November but the Chief Minister had met the Governor on June 25 itself and demanded that the centre should extend the scheme till December.

He said that leaders of the BJP are claiming that the PDS system has failed in the state therefore they should tell what they do in their five years role to establish the PDS system in the state. He said that no other state started any other scheme apart from Mnreag to help the migrant workers but Jharkhand alone came up with three separate schemes for the workers in which at present lakhs of them have been involved.

Bhattacharya said that in the short 6 months of Hemant rule the government has made sure that no one slept empty stomach in the state amid the crisis as food was provided on the highways, through police stations and was also distributed in localities while food grains kit was also distributed among the people. He said that it was the present government which made sure that people who wear ‘chappals’ come back in flights. The spokesperson also pointed to the example of how BRO agreed to the terms of the state government to take the workers to work for its projects.
