Weather patterns to change in Jharkhand, possibility of thunder and hailstorm along with rain – MeT Department

Ranchi: The weather pattern is going to change in Jharkhand from Sunday. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places on March 3 and 4. According to the Meteorological Department, on March 3, there will be thunderstorms and strong winds (maximum speed 30-40 kmph) at isolated places in the western and adjacent central parts of the state. There may also be hailstorm at isolated places in Garhwa, Palamu and Latehar.

On March 4 also, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds (maximum speed 30-40 kmph) at isolated places in the western and adjacent central parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature may gradually increase by 2-3°C in the next three days. After this, the minimum temperature may also increase by 4°C during the next two days.

During this period there will be partly cloudy sky in the capital. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall along with thunder. 

During this period, the maximum temperature is likely to be 30°C and the minimum temperature is likely to be 16°C. The weather remained dry in Jharkhand in the last 24 hours. The highest temperature recorded in Bokaro – Thermal was 33.1°C and the lowest temperature was 12.9°C in Lohardaga.
