Dumka: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday said that govt was working to give new direction to the state. “We are empowering the people economically, socially and educationally. The government is working with full force to get rid of the tag of poverty and backwardness that has been attached to the state for the last two decades. With everyone’s cooperation, we are working to give a new direction to the state” said CM while addressing the program “Your Plan- Your Government- Your Door” Tuesday at Bada Dhaka located in Gadi Koraiya Panchayat of Dumka block.
He said “ There will not be any house in the state where one or the other scheme of the government has not reached. Today every household is getting the benefits of the schemes. Abu Sarkar is always with you in your happiness and sorrow”.
He said “ if any person is still deprived of the benefits of government schemes due to any reason, then they should go to the camps being organized in Panchayats under this program which is running from November 24 and apply. The entire team of officials is present here to solve your problem”.
The Chief Minister said that our government is giving pace to development by fulfilling the basic needs of the people like food, clothing and shelter. Abua Housing Scheme is going to fulfill the dream of 8 lakh poor people of having their own home. By issuing 20 lakh additional green ration cards, they are giving them grains and now the government has also decided to give them gram pulses.
Under the Sona-Sobaran Dhoti-Saree Scheme, the poor are being given dhoti/lungi and saree for Rs 10 twice a The Chief Minister said that the road network is being laid rapidly across the state. Thousands of kilometers of rural roads are being built. Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana has been started for better connectivity from village to city.
Under this scheme, old people, women, disabled and students will get free transportation facility. At the same time, the government has set a target of providing water to every farm. For this, Megalift Irrigation Project equipped with modern technology has been started. In the days to come, every farm will flourish throughout the year and farmers will become even stronger financially.
