Urban Development Secretary inspected the Transport Nagar expressed displeasure after seeing the disturbances

Ranchi: Urban Development Secretary Vinay Choubey inspected the Transport Nagar being built at Sukurhutu in Kanke. While his inspection he expressed displeasure after seeing many disturbances. The secretary gave several instructions to the officials of JUDCO and KMV Company which is working.

He said, “There is not enough arrangement for the drivers and other staff of the vehicles that will stop in Transport Nagar.” They were asked to increase more rooms. He said the office bearers that the transporters do not need big offices, so the size of their rooms should be small, but the number of rooms should be more, so that more and more transporters can get offices.

After inspection, the secretary said that the transport city is taking a concrete form. Phase one work is going on. The tender for phase two has been done. He has expressed hope that in the next two years, the transport city will be ready and vehicles will stop there. He said that under Phase One, parking arrangements for 450 vehicles are being made.

Apart from this, living arrangements for vehicle personnel, cafeteria, transporter office and 2 warehouses are being built.
