Ranchi: Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth inspected Bada Talab on Saturday.During this, he instructed Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha and Municipal Corporation officials to completely clean the pond. He also said that whatever resources are required for cleaning the pond will be made available.
During this, Rajeev Ranjan Mishra, patron of Save Lake Campaign Committee, was also present.
He said that the pond will have to be cleaned from the lower level, only then lakhs of people living here will get relief from the bad smell.
The health of the students, shopkeepers and college going children living here will be good. Said that if this situation continues then the epidemic may spread in the area.
A large number of local people including former Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijay Vargiya, Upendra Rajak, Lankesh Singh, Nandu Arora, Mukesh Mukta, Inder Singh, Shyamanandan Prasad, Shakti Singh, Keki Kumar, Mo Jabed, Ramesh Kedia, Manoj Sharma, Kailash Sahni were present on the occasion.
