Two IED bombs recovered in Chaibasa during search operation, destroyed on the spot

Ranchi: Operations are being conducted against Maoist rebels in the Chaibasa area of Jharkhand. Landmines and IED bombs were recovered on the third day from the Chaibasa area. Soldiers from the security forces destroyed them on Saturday.

During the search operation, the security forces recovered two IED bombs of five kg each. Security forces personnel recovered two IED bombs of 5 kg each from a forested and hilly road near Rela Paral village under the Goilkera police station.

According to Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar, a search operation has been started from May 25 to nab Maoists in the border areas of Tumbahaka and Anjadbeda under the Tonto police station area and Kuida and Mardiri border areas of Goilkera police station.

In this sequence, two IED bombs planted to harm the security forces were recovered near Raila Paral village of Goilkera. According to the information given by the police, these bombs were destroyed on the spot. A search operation is now going on in this area.

Chaibasa Police, Jharkhand Jaguar, 209 and 203 battalions of Cobra, 197, 193, 174, 157, 134, 60, 26, and 07 battalions of CRPF are included in this campaign.
