Ranchi: On the 67th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, wreaths and floral tributes were offered to the statue of Baba Saheb installed in the Ambedkar Udyan of CCL Headquarters.
On this occasion, Director Technical and Operations Ram Babu Prasad, Director Personnel Harsh Nath Mishra, Director Technical, Planning and Projects B. Sairam, CVO Pankaj Kumar, representatives of labor union, general managers, heads of various departments and a large number of employees were present.
CVO Pankaj Kumar said that Baba Saheb made efforts throughout his life to build an egalitarian and exploitation-free society. He further said that Baba Saheb’s life is exemplary for all of us.
The directors also remembered the great works of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Diwas. He said Baba Saheb was not only an educationist and jurist but also a leader of social ideology. As a result of his efforts we have got such a strong and inclusive Constitution.
In their address, the dignitaries reiterated the point of following the Constitution and paid tribute to Baba Saheb. Personnel and Industrial Relations and other departments had important contributions in the successful organization of the program.
