TPC militant Jetha Ganjhu, who opened fire on police personnel, arrested, huge quantity of weapons and bullets recovered

Ranchi: TPC militant Jetha Ganjhu, who opened fire on police personnel, has been arrested.

Two automatic weapons along with a huge quantity of cartridges and other Naxalite literature have been recovered from him.

The police team has taken this action on the instructions of SP Rakesh Ranjan.

Jetha Ganjhu was involved in the police-Naxalite encounter that took place in Narayantari area of Vashishtnagar Jori police station area.

Jetha Ganjhu is a lethal member of the squad of area commander Sahendra Ganjhu.

It was the arrested militant Jetha who fired shots at the police party returning from the opium destruction operation.

In this incident, jawan Sikandar Singh of Sadar police station and jawan Sukan Ram of Jori police station were martyred.

While constable Akash Singh was seriously injured by the bullet.
