Time to lay the foundation of a new revolution in Jharkhand: Sudesh Mahato

Ranchi: AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto said that due to the unforgettable sacrifice of innumerable brave sons including Amar Shaheed Sido-Kanhu the great revolutionaries and the great hero of Hul Revolution people are breathing in an independent India.

A true tribute to the martyrs can be given only by providing rights to the labourers, farmers, youth and deprived sections of the state he said adding that the situation is that today Jharkhand is are in search of their existence, their identity in their own state. It seems from the actions of the government that it is not at all serious about the honor of freedom fighters and agitators. 

Speaking while paying tribute to his statue located at Sido-Kanhu Park, Hatma Sudesh said the circumstances are odd and this is the time to unitedly lay the foundation of a new revolution by awakening social and political consciousness for the protection of Jharkhand and Jharkhaniyat.

On the occasion, the Central Chief Spokesperson of AJSU Party, Dr Devsharan Bhagat said that years before the Sepoy Mutiny, the brave sons of Jharkhand raised the bugle of rebellion against the British. Thousands of revolutionaries gave their martyrdom under the leadership of Veer Shaheed Sido-Kanhu during Santal Hul but the brave martyrs of Jharkhand did not get that place, that honor in the pages of history.

He said that the AJSU party is committed to taking the story of the struggle of the brave sons of Jharkhand to the country and the world and continuous efforts are also going on in this regard.

Regarding the district-level justice march, Dr. Bhagat said that on April 13, thousands of AJSU party leaders, workers and office-bearers in all the 24 districts of the state will march towards the Deputy Commissioner’s office with seven point demands and raise slogans against the anti-Jharkhand government. He said that extensive preparations have been made for the justice march.

Central President Sudesh Mahto is also holding review meetings continuously regarding strategies and preparations. Regarding the justice march to be held in Ranchi, Dr Bhagat said that thousands of workers of Ranchi district will march from Bapu Vatika in Morhabadi to the Collectorate with their demands and submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.
