Three-day Bangla cultural fair to begins from Friday

Ranchi: A three-day (May 5 to May 7) Bangla cultural fair is being organised by the Bengali Yuva Manch Charitable Trust. Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan and JMM supremo Shibu Soren will inaugurate the fair. Supriyo Bhattacharya, a member of the organizing committee held a press conference regarding this. 

He said that the main stage of the fair has been named after Michael Madhusudan Dutt the first author of Bengali poetry and drama. Supriyo said that Michael is known as the Pioneer of Bengal Literature. A colorful cultural program will be organized at the venue at 7:00 pm.

On the first day of the fair, a dance performance will be presented by the Dancer Guild of Kolkata. On the other hand, drama will be presented by Maulali Rangshilpi of Kolkata and the audience will be able to listen to the song of Saint Kabir. Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto will arrive at the Bangla Cultural Fair on May 6.

Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash will also be present there. On this day there will be a presentation of the Bengali orchestra by Pancham Musical Group of Kolkata. While Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Rural Development Minister Aalamgir Aalam will be present in the closing program.
