Tender invited for supply of grains under Dal-Bhaat Yojana in Ranchi

Ranchi: The Ranchi district administration has invited tenders for the supply of rice, pulses, and soyabean badi under the Chief Minister’s Dal-Bhaat Yojana for the year 2025–26.

According to a notification (PR-349166) issued by the district supply branch, grains must be supplied to Dal-Bhaat centers operating across 18 blocks and 12 municipal areas in the district. The tender submission process will begin at 11 AM on May 4, 2025, and applications will be accepted until 1 PM the same day. Interested suppliers are required to deposit an application fee of ₹3,300 and an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹7,000.

The administration has appealed to all eligible suppliers to participate in the tender process on time to ensure smooth food availability for the needy under the Dal-Bhaat scheme. Interested parties can contact the District Supply Office, Ranchi, and submit their bids on the scheduled date.

Officials emphasized that the quality of grains must be maintained and supplies must be delivered within the stipulated timeline. Strict action will be taken against suppliers violating the terms, and there is a provision for payment deductions in case of delays.

Suppliers must submit photocopies of their Aadhaar card and PAN card, along with their GST registration certificate, MSME certificate (if applicable), last year’s GST return, and documents related to a turnover of up to ₹1.5 crore.

In case of delays in supply, deductions will be applied as per the following scale: a 2 percent cut for delays of 1–2 days, a 5 percent cut for 3–4 days, a 10 percent cut for 5–6 days, and a 14 percent cut for delays of 7–14 days. The materials required under this tender include rice, dal, and soyabean badi.
