Ranchi: The case related to Tara Shahdeo was heard on Monday in the court of Special Judge PK Sharma of Ranchi CBI Court. During the hearing, a demand was made to give time to argue on behalf of the defence side Rakibul Hasan alias Ranjit Kohli and Mushtaq Ahmed. On which the court has given time of August 1 to both the accused for debate.
The court has directed the accused to complete the arguments in a week. The arguments on behalf of the CBI have been completed in this case.
Former High Court registrar (vigilance) Mushtaq Ahmed and Kohli’s mother Kaushal Rani are facing trial in the Tara Shahdeo sexual harassment case along with Ranjit Kohli alias Rakibul. The court had framed charges against the accused on July 2, 2018. CBI had taken over this case in the year 2015.
