Ranchi: It seems the customers are not happy with the facilities being provided to them at the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Airport here. The result of their unhappiness is that the rank of Birsa Munda Airport Ranchi has lagged behind in the survey report of the Airport Authority of India’s customer satisfaction survey.
Ranchi Airport had got the first rank six months ago but in the survey report for the month of July to December, this rank has slipped from first to fourth. The Maharana Pratap Airport of Udaipur Rajasthan has occupied the first position by bringing Ranchi Airport to the fourth position. The customer satisfaction survey was conducted between July and December whose report has been was released now.
According to this report, Birsa Munda Airport of Ranchi has got 4.96 points. The reason for coming from the first position to the fourth position is because of getting 0.03 marks less in the survey. According to the report Ranchi got 4.96 points while Udaipur airport got 4.97 points.
This survey was conducted keeping in mind the quality parameters set by the Airport Authority. Udaipur got first place in the July to December 2022 survey. The survey for the first six months of this year was done from January to June 2022. Then Ranchi Airport got the first position.
The results came on the basis of the survey of both rounds. In the survey of 56 airports in the country, Bhopal, Jammu and Andhra Pradesh’s Rajahmundry airports were above Ranchi. Authorities of the Birsa Munda Airport said that they will again be in the first place.
The results of the criteria on the basis of which the survey was conducted were very accurate and they got left behind due to some differences.
This survey was done on many parameters which include standards relating to airport terminal buildings, cleanliness, ambient environment, the behavior of airline personnel, cleanliness, hygiene, flight information and displays, parking, baggage, behavior of personnel during security checks, entertainment and other customer amenities.
