State run libraries will be equipped with Wi-Fi and LED TV

Ranchi: The libraries operated by the state government will now be equipped with more technology. Libraries running in many districts are proving helpful for students preparing for competitive examinations.  o make it even better with the changing times, about four crore rupees have been allocated. With this amount, the libraries of the districts will be equipped with Wi-Fi and computers.

Till now the library used to be a medium of reading only while sitting but after being equipped with technology students will be able to fill examination forms and download admit cards from here. Along with upgrading in technology, career counseling facilities will also be provided in these libraries. This counseling will be done every Saturday. 

The purpose behind starting this is that the facility of complete preparation for the competitive examination should be made available to the students. Instructions have been issued regarding this. Every Saturday the students get facility of counseling, for this the counselor can be selected through the local coaching center.

LED TVs will also be installed in district libraries. Wi-Fi facility will also be provided. This necessary process has been asked to be completed. Successful students in various competitive exams can be invited for counseling. Initially, the counseling will be offline.

There is no computer in the libraries of the Lohardaga, Pakur, Godda, Jamtara, and Chatra districts. It has been asked to provide computers here. The Directorate of Secondary Education has allocated 3.69 crores for the library.
