State government sensitive about poor families, families of Musa Toli in Smart City to get land

Ranchi: The state government running under the able leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is very sensitive about the poor families of the state. In the past Chief Minister Hemant Soren had given necessary instructions to the Urban Development and Housing Department and the district administration to settle about two dozen families living in Musatoli in the Ranchi Smart City ABD area for years.

In this sequence, on the instructions of Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary, of Urban Development and Housing Department in the State Government on Wednesday, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amit Kumar, Director, State Urban Development Agency and CEO of Ranchi Smart City Corporation.

A meeting was held in which Additional Collector Rajesh Barwar and Circle Officer of Namkum Vinod Prajapati were present on behalf of the Ranchi District Administration. On behalf of Ranchi Smart City Corporation, members of the affected families of Musatoli were also invited. Interacting with the members of the affected families in the meeting, Amit Kumar, CEO, Ranchi Smart City Corporation assured that the government is standing with them in providing better rehabilitation as well as in resolving employment and other problems for them.

On the demand of the affected families, the SUDA Director told them that the government could not settle the land in the urban area. When the affected families demanded plots around the city, the SUDA director urged the district administration to Identify a better and safer place to rehabilitate them. Ranchi AC Rajesh Barwar and CO Namkum Binod Prajapati said that the district administration will work on it and take appropriate steps soon so that they can be rehabilitated.

Smart City CEO Amit Kumar said that it will be his endeavor that the youth of this settlement should get employment opportunities only in the ongoing development schemes in the Smart City. He told all the families that they should give good education to their children and for this the government is doing all possible help. David Ain and Soma Sanga, who were present in the meeting, expressed happiness that now they have got a new hope that the government will rehabilitate them with respect and they will also get employment in their own city.

For this, both thanked the Chief Minister, Urban Development Secretary and Smart City CEO and Ranchi district administration. Santosh Tigga and Sunil Minj also appreciated this initiative of the district administration and Smart City and said that they were scared for many days that we should not come on the road but the meeting has given a new hope.

JD Tripathi, PRO of Smart City Amit Kumar, Revenue Manager Ravi Pandey, Legal Executive Satish Kumar, Prabhas Kumar as well as many managers from JUDCO and LNT were also present.
