Ranchi: State Labour Commissioner R N Yadav said that the government was committed to provide jobs to the workers.
On Thursday the Labour Department inked an MoU with Labournet Services India Private Ltd as part of which Labournet will help the migrant workers of the state to get jobs.
Mr Yadav said not only in Jharkhand but the state government will help the migrants get a job in any state for which they first needed to register on Samadhan Portal after which they would get either green or red card which they should carry with them as then only they would be able to get the benefits of the schemes.
He said that Labournet will also look into the wages, healthcare, accommodation facilities for the workers and all precautions to be adopted for work amid Corona crisis would also be implemented. Further, it would also provide security, cleanliness and drinking water facilities at the workplace and also at the place of study.
The labour commissioner said that for the children of the worker’s nursery, primary schools and Anganwadi is being set up as if the workers want to carry their minor children to the work spot and than their adequate care would be taken.
