Ranchi: Preparations are in full swing for the Shravani Mela in Deoghar. During this, a special train will run so that the devotees who reach Baba Nagri do not face any kind of inconvenience. This time also special trains will run and keeping in view the number of devotees, the number of Mela special trains can be increased this time.
Asansol division’s DRM Parmanand Sharma said, this time the number of bogies will also be more so that more and more devotees can board a train and reach Baba Nagari. The stoppage time of trains has also been increased so that the devotees coming to Deoghar do not face any kind of problem. Arrangements are also being made for the stay of the passengers in the station.
There will be all kinds of facilities here, apart from this the number of ticket counters is also being increased. DRM Parmanand Sharma of the Asansol Division inspected Deoghar station and gave many necessary orders.
Special care has been taken to ensure that the growing crowd does not face any problem due to the Shravani Mela. The DRM inspected all the platforms, new circulating area, ticket counter, portico and other places of the station and gave necessary directions.
The DRM has directed to keep the lights, fans, seating arrangement, mobile charging point, and waiting room clean at the station premises. After the inspection, the DRM held a meeting with the railway officers and officials in the station manager’s office and instructed them to complete all the preparations at the earliest.
