Khunti: Union minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh addressed a large gathering in Khunti where he criticised the state government’s performance and outlined the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) plans for the state’s future if the party comes to power.
In a passionate speech, Rajnath Singh condemned the state government’s failure to deliver on its promises to the people of Jharkhand, particularly in areas like employment, pensions, and tribal welfare. He accused the government of misleading the public and not taking concrete steps to address their concerns. “The government has failed to deliver on basic promises like employment for educated youth and pensions for the elderly. Despite assurances, not a single person has received the unemployment allowance or pension benefits,” he stated.
Rajnath Singh also highlighted the BJP’s track record of fulfilling its promises at the national level, claiming that the party has always stood by its commitments. He urged the public to recognize the difference between BJP’s action-oriented governance and the empty promises made by opposition parties.
The Union minister emphasized the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of Jharkhand’s tribal communities. He pointed out that the BJP-led central government had worked to protect the rights of tribal people, particularly in terms of land, forest, and water resources. “The current state government has been neglecting the interests of tribal communities. The BJP, on the other hand, will ensure that their rights are safeguarded,” he said.
