Ranchi: Six IAS and five IPS have been deputed at the venues regarding PM Narendra Modi’s Ranchi-Khunti tour. The Prime Minister has a program on 14-15 November at Birsa Munda Memorial Ranchi, Ulihatu Khunti and Birsa College Ground, Khunti. All senior officers have been deputed as per the prescribed norms for conduct of programs, protocol and security.
On State Foundation Day on 15th November, PM Narendra Modi will participate in programs at four places in Ranchi and Khunti. More than 2000 police personnel including IPS, DSP will be deployed for the security of PM from Ranchi Airport to Khunti.
Jharkhand Police officers are continuously inspecting to ensure that there is no lack of security as well as other arrangements in the PM’s program. From SPG to the State Police Headquarters, preparations have been made jointly for the security of all the program venues of Ranchi and Khunti.
On November 11, the SPG team also inspected both the venues of Ranchi Airport and Khunti. The venue is divided into six zones. IPS officers are in charge of security in every zone. Provision for two carcades has also been made for the Prime Minister in case of emergency. There will be bulletproof vehicles in the carcade. The road from the platform to the helipad has been kept in zone five. This zone will be like no man’s land. No one will be allowed to come on this route.
