Ranchi: Secretary of the Rural Development Department Chandrashekhar said that there are 1,09,542 houses pending under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) across the state and directed the officials to complete these pending houses by June 2023.
He said that this campaign should be launched at Panchayat/village level and this campaign will be organized simultaneously in the entire state as Pradhan Mantri Awas Beneficiary Day.
Giving directions to the officials during the review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) through video conferencing on Tuesday he directed the Deputy Development Commissioner of all the districts to review this campaign every week. He said that the maximum number of pending houses should be completed through this campaign.
In the meeting, MNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B informed that under the Housing Beneficiary Day campaign, a camp would be organized every Thursday in the panchayat/village.
