Khunti: Multimedia photo exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communications which was inaugurated by former Lok Sabha MP and Union Minister and Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha Kariya is going on in Town Hall of Khunti.
On Friday students in large number from different schools of Khunti visited the exhibition. On Thursday On National Epilepsy Day Khunti Civil Surgeon Dr Ajit Khalkho was invited in the event who gave very informative information about epilepsy to all the guests. He said that there are good medicines available to prevent epilepsy. If someone has this problem, then he should contact the doctor and take the right medicines.
A cultural program was also presented by the Song and Drama Division in the exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communications. The artists of the division gave a melodious presentation on the folk songs of Jharkhand.
One of the highlights of the exhibition released at Khunti Town Hall is an informative gaming application for children — Azadi Quest AZADI-QUEST KIOSK by the Government of India on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
All the children visiting the exhibition are having a lot of fun playing the Azadi Quest&Game and enhancing their knowledge at the same time. LED-wall and plasma TV have also been installed in the multimedia exhibition, on which information is continuously being given about the welfare schemes being run by the Government of India, especially for the tribal society.
