Ranchi, May 7: Body a sales executive of Axis Bank was found inside a
flat located under Sadar Police Station area of the state capital.
The wife of the deceased and his five year old child were missing from
the flat. The brother of the deceased alleged that his sister-in-law
was having an extra marital affair and she use to daily talks with a
man over phone to which his brother objected. On Saturday night a
fight broke out between the couple over the issue and on the next day
the man’s body was found.
The deceased was identified as Vikas Kumar (35). He had been
transferred from Patna to Ranchi five months ago. The brother of the
deceased said that he had reached Ranchi to talk to both of them but
when he reached the flat he found the body of his brother after which
he alerted the police.
Meanwhile the body has been sent for post-mortem. Police official said
that Vikas Kumar was married seven years ago and has a five year old
child. They said that prima facie it appears to be a case of murder
and the wife appears to be the prime suspect.
