Ranchi: On the seventh day of the Jharkhand Assembly budget session, MLAs from the ruling party and the opposition created a ruckus in the House to discuss the gang rape of a Spanish woman in Dumka and the PM’s statement.
When the House proceedings started again at 12.04, BJP MLAs came to the well creating ruckus over the gang rape of a Spanish woman in Dumka.
Whereas Sudivya Sonu demanded a special discussion in the House on the Prime Minister’s statement.
After this, MLAs from the ruling party and the opposition started raising slogans in the well.
Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 2 pm.
Earlier, when the assembly proceedings started at 11.09 am, an uproar had started between the MLAs of the ruling party and the opposition.
Amidst the uproar, MLA Pradeep Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to Dhanbad yesterday.
There he went away abusing the people of Jharkhand like a Panchayat level leader.
This should be discussed in the House.
After this, Congress MLAs Irfan Ansari and Umashankar had come alone to the well.
BJP MLAs also came to the well and started creating a ruckus.
Due to the uproar, Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahato adjourned the proceedings of the House till 12 noon.
