Deoghar, Jul 31: State’s Labour Minister Raj Paliwar has been asked to pay an extortion of Rs 1 crore or else be ready to face dire consequences.
In a sms which has been sent on his number it was said that either he pay Rs 1 crore or he alongwith other members of the family would be killed. A disturbed Paliwar later narrated the entire episode to the higher police officials of the district.
Addressing the press here he expressed concern regarding his security. He said that without much security he travels around the state and after this message his concerns have increased. He said that the message was received on his mobile number 9431385021. He said that the sms had come on 7084145657. He said that the matter has been informed to Deoghar SP A Vijaylakshi and DIG Akhilesh Jha.
In his complaint the minister said that obsence words have been also used against him in the message. Deoghar SP said that police was looking in the matter and was trying to locate the number and soon the culprit would be arrested.
