Ranchi: Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Prasad Yadav that the party is standing with the decision of the Jharkhand government to have the domicile policy on the basis of Khatiyaan of 1932.
Addressing a press conference at the state RJD headquarters here he said that during the 2019 assembly elections, the RJD had contested the elections under the grand alliance and it was led by JMM supremo Shibu Soren.
The alliance has to be further strengthened he said. In the coming time, RJD’s program will be held in all the districts of Jharkhand he said adding that BJP and RSS will not be allowed to become strong at any cost. On the other hand, on the question of 1932 Khatiyaan-based local policy Tejashwi said that Hemant Soren is looking into everything.
Whatever decision has been taken by the cabinet regarding the local policy the RJD will also stand with it. On the other hand, on a statement made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Tripura Tejashwi said that if like-minded parties contest elections together, then what is wrong with it.
Amit Shah’s words are irrelevant. He said that Initially when the BJP formed the NDA alliance, how many parties were included in it Amit Shah should also know this.
On the other hand, regarding the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Tejashwi said that at present it has not been decided on how many seats RJD will contest. He said that the only aim is to remove BJP from power and his party is working with the ideology of social justice and will continue to do so with other like-minded parties.
