RIMS: Central Joint Secretary held a meeting with Deputy Commissioners

Ranchi: With the aim of making Seva Pakhwada successful, a meeting was organized in RIMS under the chairmanship of Aradhana Patnaik, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of India and National Health Mission Director Alok Trivedi, RIMS Director Dr. Rajeev Kumar Gupta, Medical Superintendent Dr. Hirendra Birua, RIMS and other officials of the National Health Mission participated in the meeting.

Deputy Commissioners and Civil Surgeons of 24 districts of the state joined the meeting through video conferencing. Seva Pakhwada is being celebrated from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. Under which many health-related programs are to be organized.

The Joint Secretary directed the Deputy Commissioners and Civil Surgeons of all the districts to ensure their role in organizing various health-related programs. Also, directions were given to organize awareness sessions and camps in schools, colleges, offices, and industrial units to promote blood donation and organ donation.

Patnaik said that there is a need to highlight the work being done in Jharkhand in the field of health at the national level. For which everyone will have to work together. In the meeting, everyone shared their suggestions and everyone agreed to make Seva Pakhwada successful.
