Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the Hemant government has taken a big decision in the direction of honouring the Revolutionaries by identifying them.
CM Hemant Soren has approved the proposal to identify a total 413 agitators of Jharkhand.
All the identified agitators have been notified as Jharkhand Movement Revolutionaries on the basis of recognition.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the process of identifying the agitators is going on by the Home, Jail and Disaster Management Department.
Other eligible Revolutionaries will be identified in the coming days.
The identified Revolutionaries include 20 from Bokaro, 132 from Deoghar, 12 from Dhanbad, 43 from Giridih, 19 from Godda, 33 from Gumla, 23 from Hazaribagh, 13 from Koderma, 02 from Latehar, 29 from Lohardaga, 08 from Ramgarh, 47 from Ranchi, 10 from Sahebganj and 22 from Seraikela.
Since the formation of the government, the Chief Minister has been serious about giving respect to the struggle of the agitators.
In the past, the Chief Minister had also decided to reconstitute the Revolutionaries Marking Commission, provide monthly pension and other facilities to the agitators or their dependents.
After the demise of the five Revolutionaries identified for the formation of the Jharkhand state, the proposal to give benefits to their dependents was also approved.
The Chief Minister has already approved the 13th list received from Jharkhand and JP Revolutionaries Marking Commission.
There is a clear instruction of the Chief Minister that the eligible Revolutionaries involved in the last line of the movement should also be given benefits.
