Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said that the state government has started the recruitment process on large scale and is also giving financial support for self-employment. Addressing the Vikas Mela cum Janata Darbar organized at Tasaria in Sundarpahari here he said that for those who are educated and want to get a job, the process of filling up vacant posts in government departments has started.
He said that a law has also been made to secure 75 percent jobs for local youth in private sector institutions and companies and for those who are less educated and want to be self-employed, the government has started many schemes including the Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme of which they should take the advantage.
He further said that the officials are now also reaching the last person of the state and the schemes are also coming into reality. We have a clear vision that development should pick up pace in the remote and far-flung villages and asked the people they should also try to know and understand the schemes of the government and take advantage of them.
The Chief Minister said that the thinking and working style of the officers have changed in his government. Through the Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme, the problems of lakhs of people were solved through camps in village panchayats and now high officials are reaching to the doors of the government regarding the schemes and assured that such camps will continue to be organized in future as well.
The Chief Minister said that the women here are coming forward in a big way to take advantage of the schemes of the government and are becoming self-reliant, and empowered by joining these schemes which is a positive and better sign for society. He said that the government is continuously working towards providing better and quality education to the boys and girls of the state.
Many schools are being developed as model schools where education will be done on the lines of private schools. Teachers of model schools are being trained in institutes like IMM while the government has also increased the number of scholarships for children.
Along with this, the government is also giving assistance for the preparation of competitive exams and studies for engineering and medical etc and now the children have to concentrate only on studies, the government will bear the expenses of the studies.
He said that the government is making efforts to make every person financially empowered so that he never needs to take free food grains for which many schemes are going on in this direction and the purpose of these plans is to make people financially stable.
The Chief Minister said that the responsibility of running PDS shops will be given to Mahila Mandals. He also said that many complaints are being received continuously for making fake ration cards and asked the people for surrendering wrongly made ration cards else strict action will be taken against them.
MP Vijay Hansda, MLAs Pradeep Yadav and Deepika Pandey, Zila Parishad President Baby Devi, DIG Sudarshan Mandal, Deputy Commissioner Zeeshan Qamar and Superintendent of Police Nathu Singh Meena and many other officers of the district administration were present in the programme.
