Ranchi to host Sansad Sanskritik Mahotsav from May 5 to 7 2023 – Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth

Ranchi: Ranchi City to host “Sansad Sanskritik Mahotsav, a cultural festival from May 5 to 7, 2023,” Said Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth in a press conference at Audrey House in Ranchi on Wednesday.

“We are providing a stage to tribal and local artists to avoid Western culture and promote nationalism,” Sanjay Seth added.

Artists from All 32 Tribes which are found in Jharkhand will take part in this Mahotsav.

On the first day May 5, on the occasion of Budhha Purnima this cultural festival is going to be organised and will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, AJSU Supremo and Silli MLA Sudesh Mahato along with various MLA’s of Jharkhand Assembly will also join this festival on the same day.

On the first half of the first day Junior 10 to 17 years age group children will take part in tribal musical and dance festival at Aryabhatta Auditorium of Ranchi University.

In the second half Mime (Soundless theater act) will be presented.

And after these programmes Classical Dance festival will be organised.

On Second Day, May 6, Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan will be the Chief Guest and will be joined by Karia Munda.

 Folk artists will present group dances.

Skit programme will also be held on this occasion.

Solo Vocal and Classical Solo Dance will be held on the second half of the second day.

On Third and Concluding Day May 7, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs and Khunti MP Arjun Munda along with Union Minister of State Annapurna Devi will take part in the Closing Ceremony.

Classical Solo Dance and Instrumental Musical festival will be organised on Closing Ceremony, Sanjay Seth Said.

Festival will be organised at four Places –

1. Aryabhatta Auditorium of Ranchi University

2. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Auditorium

3. Audrey House

4. Mayuri Bhavan, CMPDI

Almost 2200 Artists and Participants from Jharkhand State will take part in the 3 day cultural festival.

Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth said this festival will be unique and going to be organised on a large scale.

Spectators and Visitors are being invited from both rural and urban areas of Ranchi.

People from Upper Bazar, Piska More, Ormanjhi, Ratu Road, PP Compound, Doranda, Dhurwa, Lalpur, Kokar and Morhabadi assured to come and watch this unique cultural festival of Jharkhand and will showcasing and represent the culture in the form of Instrumental Music and Classical and Folk Dance, Seth added.

Veteran and Padma Awardees Mukund Nayak, Madhu Mansuri and National Level artist Ajay Malkani will also present at this three day cultural festival in State Capital Ranchi.
