Ranchi: Sadar Hospital has become one such district hospital of the state, where more than half a dozen super specialty departments have been started. Patients are getting healthy by taking advantage of the services available here.
Here, expert doctors of gastroenterology, urology, nephrology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, hematology, cardiology are consulting and treating the patients. Next week, a dedicated cancer ward will be started for the treatment of cancer patients.
A 10-bed dialysis unit has also been built on the sixth floor of the hospital. Where the kidney related patient is undergoing dialysis under the supervision of Dr. Naveen Kumar Baranwal of Nephrology Department.
During this period, if the patient has any kind of problem, the doctors are ready to provide proper treatment to him.
In the Urology department, OPD services are available to the patients for 6 days. Chemotherapy has also started in Sadar Hospital. Cardiac care and critical care unit has also been created for the cardiology department. 4 beds have been marked here. And 6 beds have been identified for urology.
The number of beds will be increased as the number of patient’s increases. Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar said that we have enough beds available.
