Ranchi police on alert mode for Diwali, additional police forces deployed in capital

Ranchi: Ranchi Police is on alert mode for the festival of Diwali as part of which elaborate security preparations have been made for security arrangements in the capital.

On the instructions of SSP Kishor Kaushal, 500 additional policemen have been deployed in addition to police stations, and patrol teams across the city. Along with this, a large number of police will be stationed in plain clothes, special vigil will be taken around Dhanteras market, especially jewelry and utensils shops.

On the instructions of the SSP, security has been increased in the city regarding Diwali, senior officers of Ranchi Police have marked the hot spot places of the capital Ranchi, where policemen in plain clothes will be stationed.

In Kotwali, Sukhdevnagar, Pandara OP, Lalpur, Lower Bazar, Sadar, Bariatu, Doranda, Argora, Jagannathpur, Dhurva, and Tupudana OP areas where there is a possibility of crime the jawans deployed at such places would keep an eye on suspicious people.

Criminals will be monitored through CCTV cameras and a team will continuously monitor the entire market through CCTV cameras in the police control room located in Ranchi’s court so that if any kind of information reaches them then its information through wireless to the jawans and officers posted in security. If any criminal is seen under suspicious circumstances or is seen carrying out the  incident, then his location will also be broadcast through wireless.
