Ramgarh: Taking a firm administrative stance, Deputy Commissioner Rituraj has issued strict directives to officials and executing agencies regarding the implementation of development projects under the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT). During a review meeting held via video conferencing, the DC made it clear that delays and poor-quality work will not be tolerated.
Chairing the meeting, the DC emphasized that agencies failing to complete projects on time or maintain quality standards will be given only two to three warnings. Beyond that, strict action will follow without hesitation.
The review focused on the progress of various DMFT-funded schemes across the district. Senior officials, including the Deputy Development Commissioner, departmental heads, executive engineers, and representatives of implementing agencies, participated in the session.
To strengthen monitoring and accountability, the administration has introduced a standardized reporting format. All agencies have been directed to submit detailed updates within three days, covering key parameters such as physical progress, financial progress, and handover status of projects.
The DC stated that consolidating this data into a single structured system will enable more effective tracking, evaluation, and timely intervention where needed.
He further clarified that future allocation and prioritization of projects will depend on the performance of departments. Only those demonstrating efficient, timely, and high-quality execution will be given preference in upcoming assignments.
The meeting concluded with instructions for all departments to work in close coordination and ensure that projects are completed within stipulated timelines, so that the benefits reach the public without delay.
