Rain alert in 7 districts of Jharkhand, Possibility of lightning and hailstorm on 26 and 27 February – MeT Department

Ranchi: There is rain alert in many districts of Jharkhand.

Light to moderate rain may occur in the southern part of the state.

The places where there is a possibility of rain include the areas of Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, West Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan and East Singhbhum.

It may rain in these areas in the next three – four days.

The Meteorological Department issued an alert on 25 February, but has expressed the possibility of rain.

A yellow alert has been issued on 26 and 27 February.

Chances of rain in the southern parts on 24th February and in western, southern and central parts on 25th February.

Chances of rain in the western, southern and adjacent central parts of the state on February 26.

Possibility of rain in some areas of the state on 27th, but there is a possibility of thunder on both days, in view of which an alert has been issued.

There will be no clouds in the sky from February 28 and the weather is expected to be dry.

From February 24 to February 27, the minimum temperature can be up to 13 and the maximum temperature can be up to 28 degrees Celsius.

If we try to understand the weather pattern in the last 24 hours, there has been light to moderate rain along with thunder at many places in the state.

The Meteorological Department has also received information about hailstorms in some places.

The highest rainfall in the state has been recorded in Patratu Ramgarh district where 09.2 mm rainfall has occurred.

 The highest temperature recorded in the state was 33.4 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Lohardaga.

There is an increase in minimum and maximum temperatures in many parts of the state.
