Ranchi: In the Ranchi division of South Eastern Railway, a campaign is being conducted against liquor and ganja smugglers on the instructions of RPF Divisional Security Commissioner Incharge Pawan Kumar.
During the operation, RPF Post Hatia and RPF Flying Team conducted a raid on the arrival of Jammu Tawi Express (Train No. 18309) at Hatia station on the basis of secret information. During this time, three trolleys were found in a suspicious condition in the train bogie. When it was opened, about 39 kg of ganja was found inside it.
Whose estimated value has been estimated at three lakh ninety thousand. The matter was immediately informed to Assistant Security Commissioner RPF Ranchi.
Assistant Security Commissioner Ashok Kumar Singh seized the ganja recovered from the train and after following all the legal procedures, handed it over to the Government Railway Police, Hatia.
