Raghubar handed over the investigation report of Patna lath charge to Nadda

Ranchi: Raghubar Das, convenor of the inquiry committee, has handed over the report of lathicharge on BJP workers in Bihar’s capital Patna on July 13 and the death of a worker to National President JP Nadda. In this report, the violence has been described as sponsored by the state government. After the incident, BJP national president JP Nadda formed a four-member committee under the chairmanship of former Jharkhand CM and BJP national vice-president Raghubar Das.

On July 15, along with Raghubar Das, team members MP Manoj Tiwari, MP BD Ram and MP Sunita Duggal visited Patna and investigated the matter intensively. The committee has said in its report that after talking to the people and activists of Bihar, one thing became very clear the incident of that day was a part of state-sponsored violence. The police administration conspired and surrounded the BJP workers and then brutally lathi charged them. The policemen did not see men or women, they lathi-charged everyone. This resulted in serious head injuries to a large number of workers.

Along with this, the hands of many workers have also been broken. The committee has recommended a judicial or CBI inquiry into the matter.
