Ranchi, May 17: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has accused the bankers of not extending proper cooperation in the execution of schemes which are meant for the poor and weaker sections of the society.
Chairing a high level meeting with the state state level heads of the various banks, general managers and deputy general managers he said that despite depositing money in the banks the people are not able to get the funds. He pointed that maximum complaints are being received for Pradhan Mantari Aawas Yojana where is many cases despite funds in the account of beneficiary the banks are not giving the money due to which the work of construction was slow.
He said that bankers are highlighting lack of money in the banks for not paying the people which could not happen and money should be immediately given to the beneficiaries. He said that for Aadhar seeding also at headquarters and district level a nodal officer should be appointed who can link bank accounts with Aadhar and only such accounts where there is problem than they should be sent to the banks. He said that once the BDO has certified than there should be no problems in Aadhar seeding.
