Ranchi, Sep 3: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has assured to provide full government support to the farmers who would be forming cooperatives for farming.
Mr Das who is currently on a five day visit to China visited Shunyi district where he interacted with the farmers and collected information regarding farmers cooperatives and the techniques which they deploy in farming.
In a series of tweets Mr Das said that such farmer brothers and sisters who will come forward to undertake agriculture through formation of cooperatives the state government will be providing full support to them. “ By cooperative farming not only the farmers will get an opportunity to use high quality technique but also the agriculture production will increase,” he tweeted.
In another tweet he said that by forming cooperative society the farmers in China are producing better crops in their fields. “ In Jharkhand a change has been brought in the lives of lakhs of women through Sakhi Mandals and in agriculture also similar model can be adopted and the farmers can take advantage of it,” he tweeted.
