“Public Will Answer Insults to Women”: Randhir Singh Targets Pappu Yadav

Pakur: Former Jharkhand minister Randhir Singh on Thursday strongly criticized Purnia MP Pappu Yadav during a press conference at Rajbari, accusing him of making objectionable remarks about women and questioning his political conduct.

Reacting to Yadav’s recent statements on women in politics, Singh said such comments reflect a regressive and disrespectful mindset. He termed the remarks inappropriate and said they go against the values expected from a public representative.

Singh added that leaders should be mindful of their words, especially when speaking about women. He pointed out that such statements not only hurt sentiments but also damage the dignity of public life.

He further alleged that Yadav’s remarks expose a lack of consistency and ethical standards, adding that people are now more aware and will not tolerate such behavior. Singh expressed confidence that voters in Purnia, Bihar, and Jharkhand would give a strong response to leaders who disrespect women.

The press meet was attended by BJP leaders Sarita Murmu (District President), Hisabi Rai (District Vice President), and Meira Pravin Singh, who also condemned the remarks and stressed the need for respectful political discourse.
