Ranchi: Police have arrested three youths who were buying and selling opium.
Namkum police station has taken this action on the basis of secret information received by SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha.
Taking action, the police team arrested three opium smugglers from Jamchua of Namkum police station area.
Which includes Shivam Hazam, Deepak Munda and Shanicharva Munda.
Police have recovered Rs 90 thousand cash and seven hundred grams of opium from them.
Rural SP Sumit Aggarwal gave this information while addressing the press conference in his office on Sunday.
Rural SP said that SSP had received secret information that opium was being bought and sold by some people in Namkum police station area.
After which, on his instructions, a police team was formed and while taking action in the police team, three opium smugglers were arrested.
Arun Kumar, an opium smuggler, fled from the spot after seeing the police.
The police are raiding a possible hideout to arrest him.
