PM lays foundation stones & inaugurate schemes worth Rs 16,835 crore during Deoghar visit

Deoghar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his visit to this temple town inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for schemes worth a total of Rs 16,835 crore.

In a function held at the Deoghar Airport the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 6,565 crore was laid by the Prime Minister which included eight projects of the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways, three projects of the Ministry of Railways and one project of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated schemes and projects worth Rs 10,270 crores. In this, there is one scheme each of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Tourism and Health and Family Welfare, two of the Railways, three of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and five of the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways. The schemes inaugurated by the Prime Minister along with the amount in crores are:
