Ranchi: An ultra of the People’s Liberation Front of India was arrested from Tamar Police Station area of this district.
The arrested has been identified as Sundar Odeya who hails from Khunti district.
Police said that the ultra had come to collect levy from a ration shop owner in the area during which he was caught by the locals and was later handed over to the police.
Acting on the information provided by him police recovered a double barrel gun and three live cartridges of 12 bore. A letter pad of the PLFI was also recovered from him, police said adding that later the ultra was forwarded to jail.
