Ranchi: BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed massive public gatherings in Bagodar and Jamua. He stated that a wave of support for the BJP is sweeping across Jharkhand, with people determined to teach the corrupt Hemant Soren government a lesson.
Nadda sharply criticized the coalition government of the Congress, JMM, and RJD. He reminded the audience that when the demand for a separate Jharkhand state arose, the Congress opposed it, and their ally Lalu Yadav famously declared that Jharkhand would be created over his dead body. Yet, Jharkhand was established, and Lalu Yadav is still alive. Nadda credited the creation of Jharkhand to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He emphasized that only the NDA and BJP are true well-wishers of Jharkhand.
Nadda said, “Atal Ji created Jharkhand, and we will shape its future. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has honored the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda by declaring his birthday as a ‘Pride Day.’ Modi Ji has advanced development in Jharkhand by bringing together all communities, including tribals, the poor, and Dalits.” He added, “The brave people of Jharkhand once uprooted an oppressive regime, and this time, the people will overthrow the tyrannical JMM-Congress-RJD government.” Wherever these parties rule, there is corruption, family politics, and nepotism. The Congress-JMM-RJD alliance is filled with corrupt people who loot the rights of the poor.
Nadda highlighted the achievements of Prime Minister Modi’s 10-year tenure, stating that what Modi promised, he delivered. He increased the budget for tribal welfare threefold. Earlier, MSP (Minimum Support Price) was available for only 10 crops, but Modi extended it to 90 crops. Under the Janman scheme, Rs 24,000 crore has been allocated for education, employment, drinking water, and other basic amenities. Criticizing Rahul Gandhi, Nadda said, “Rahul Gandhi’s family sat on the Kaka Kalelkar report and later on the Mandal Commission report, but it was Modi Ji who brought the backward classes into the mainstream and gave constitutional status to the OBC Commission.”
