Ranchi, Mar 23: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that people want
quick development and action and if their problems are not solved than
dissatisfaction creeps into them therefore there was a need to perform
upto their expectations.
The Chief Minister was addressing a function organised at Jawahar Lal
Nehru Stadium at Dhurwa here during which vehicles and tabs were
distributed among the DCs, DDCs, SDOs and Cos.
Speaking on the occasion he said that people have huge expectations
from police stations, block and circle offices therefore on the
occasion of ‘Balidaan Diwas’ there was need to take pledge that people
would be honestly served. He said that god had given them the
opportunity to serve the people and they should not let this
opportunity go.
“We are the servants and not the rulers. The people would have more
faith on the administration if their problems are solved,” he said and
asked the officials to make the people understand calmly the problems
in their applications and complet their work as soon as possible once
the drawbacks are solved. He said that the government wants that all
offices should have adequate basic infrastructure equipped with modern
technology and offices are well maintained and clean. Mr Das said that
many investors are eager to invest in the state for which they visit
the various offices, a well maintained and equipped office creates a
good impression therefore it is the responsibility of all office heads
to maintain cleanliness at their offices.
Addressing the people Reveune and Land Reforms Minister Amar Bauri
said that ther officials of the revenue department use to face
difficulties due to lack of vehicles but now on the directions of the
Chief Minister vehicles are being provided the more they work better
the more positive results would be available. He said now officials
would not face trouble in visiting far off villages. He said that the
circle office should speed up task related to submitting of teachers
application forms. The applicants should be provided the necessary
certificates on time so that they can submit their applications on
time.
