Mumbai- Television actress Pavitra Punia has opened up about her experience of hosting the new reality show “FBoy- Survival: Farzi Ya Forever”, saying its unpredictable format and unusual combination of survival, competition and relationships made the project particularly appealing to her.
Pavitra said the show gives her an opportunity to watch contestants respond to challenging situations while being pushed well beyond their comfort zones. She added that, as host, she enjoys observing how their personalities, alliances and rivalries evolve under pressure.
“Hosting FBoy- Survival: Farzi Ya Forever has been such a refreshing experience because the format is unpredictable at every turn. What really drew me to the show was the idea of watching people navigate survival, relationships, competition and their own personalities when they are pushed completely out of their comfort zones,” she said.
“As a host, I get to observe all of this while adding my own energy to the chaos. I’ve genuinely enjoyed bringing the drama, calling out the unexpected moments and keeping the contestants and hopefully the viewers on their toes. It’s a very different space for me, and I’m loving every bit of it,” she added.
“FBoy – Survival: Farzi Ya Forever” takes the reality-show format into a more challenging setting, bringing together 15 strangers and placing them in a desert without basic necessities and with little idea of what lies ahead.
The contestants are quickly confronted with a physically demanding task, forcing them to adapt to the unfamiliar environment while also navigating the social dynamics of the group. With survival at stake, alliances can change quickly, while competition and personal differences add another layer of drama to the show.

Pavitra Punia has built a diverse television career, appearing in fiction shows as well as reality television. She gained recognition for her role as Geet Dhillon in “Love U Zindagi” and later drew attention for playing the antagonist Timnasa in the fantasy series “Baalveer Returns.”
Her reality television journey includes “MTV Splitsvilla 3” in 2009 and “Bigg Boss 14” in 2020. Her latest hosting assignment gives her a different role, placing her on the other side of the reality-show format as she observes contestants dealing with physical challenges, interpersonal conflicts and unpredictable situations.
