Mumbai: Actress and new mother Parineeti Chopra captivated attention as she stepped out in an elegant pink saree, playfully remarking that if she has to leave home for a couple of hours, it should be done in style.
Parineeti, who welcomed her first child with husband Raghav Chadha in October 2025, shared a series of photographs on Instagram showcasing her graceful appearance. She looked radiant in the bright pink saree, which she paired with minimal jewellery and understated makeup. Along with the images, she wrote that if “Mamma” steps out of the house for two hours, it must be in a saree.
In November 2025, Parineeti and Raghav revealed that they had named their son Neer, describing the name as symbolising purity, divinity, and boundlessness. In a joint social media post, the couple shared a heartfelt photograph of themselves kissing their baby’s tiny feet. They explained that the name combines “Nee” from Parineeti’s name and “R” from Raghav’s name, expressing that their child represents peace and a precious new chapter in their lives.
Parineeti and Raghav were married on September 24, 2023, in a grand yet private ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The wedding was attended by close relatives, friends, and notable dignitaries, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The couple reportedly first met while studying in London before reconnecting later in India.
On the professional front, Parineeti was last seen in the biographical drama Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Diljit Dosanjh. The film premiered on Netflix. She made her acting debut with a supporting role in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and later gained recognition with her lead performance opposite Arjun Kapoor in Ishaqzaade.
