Ranchi: On the occasion of World Health Day, Paras Hospital Group organized a Cyclothon on Sunday. It was done with the aim of spreading awareness about good health among the people. In the same sequence, Cyclothon was also organized by Paras Hospital located at HEC, Ranchi. Hundreds of people participated in this cyclothon.
Under the Cyclothon, cycling was to be done for 10 kilometers and 21 kilometers, in which people participated with great enthusiasm. In the Cyclothon, the winners who cycled for 10 kilometers and 21 kilometers were rewarded with medals. Zumba was organized among the participants of Cyclothon. Apart from this, exercises related to this were also done for good health. People were made aware about good health.
On this occasion, Dr. Nitesh Kumar of Paras Hospital, while making people aware of World Health Day, said that people do not take care of their health while working. Everyone should take care of their health. Get checked by regular doctors. Keep taking advice from them, so that no major disease occurs. If so, it can be treated at the right time. One should eat well and exercise. One should take out time during work and exercise regularly.
Dr. Nitish said that every year 7th April is celebrated as World Health Day across the world. The purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about global health and inspire people to live a healthy life. Due to poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle, people are falling prey to many serious diseases at an early age.
