Orange alert issued by Meteorological Department on severe heat wave condition in 11 districts of Jharkhand

Ranchi: The entire Jharkhand is scorching in the scorching heat these days. The temperature is increasing day by day. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the capital Ranchi. Whereas there are 11 districts for which Orange Alert has been issued.

According to the Meteorological Department, the hot wind blowing from the north-west has made life difficult for the people. There are 11 districts in the state where a warning of severe heat wave has been issued from Sunday. Apart from the entire state, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding the weather of the capital Ranchi.

The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of light cloudy weather in the capital Ranchi on Sunday. Heat waves will prevail in Khunti, Ramgarh, Garhwa and Palamu districts including Ranchi. There is a yellow alert for all these districts.

According to the weather forecast, there will be heat waves in the entire state including Ranchi on 29th and 30th April and 1st May. The maximum temperature will increase by two to three degrees. According to the data of Ranchi Meteorological Centre, 16 districts in the state have crossed the maximum temperature mark of 40 degrees.

According to the report released on Saturday, the maximum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius, although it was 0.2 degrees Celsius less than Friday.
