On the instructions of CM, relief team leaves for Uttarakhand, 15 workers from Jharkhand are trapped in the tunnel

Ranchi: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a three-member team left for Uttarakhand to help the workers of Jharkhand as a result of the accident that took place in the tunnel under construction between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on Brahmakamal and Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.

The team includes JAP IT CEO Bhunesh Pratap Singh, Joint Labor Commissioner Rajesh Prasad and Joint Labor Commissioner Pradeep Robert Lakra. The team has been instructed to provide necessary assistance to these workers and to visit the incident site and update them on the telephone from time to time.

On the day of Diwali, a major accident took place early in the morning in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The lives of 40 people are in danger here. About 40 laborers working here were buried due to a landslide inside the tunnel under construction from Silkyara to Dandalgaon on Yamunotri National Highway. The police administration is engaged in rescue.

The tunnel is being constructed by Navyuga Company under the direction of NHIDCL. It is being told that 40 laborers are trapped inside the tunnel. District Disaster Management Uttarkashi has confirmed this. The work of removing the debris is being done by the company. 15 laborers from Jharkhand are also trapped in this accident.
