On the initiative of Chief Minister 38 women return to their homes

Ranchi: On the initiative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, 38 women trapped in a cotton mill in Tripur, Tamil Nadu have reached their homes safely during the pandemic period.

The returned women are residents of Raneshwar, Shikaripada, Dumka and Masaliya blocks.  All had gone to work in Tamil Nadu in the month of February.

The database of the returned women was prepared by the team of the Health Department at Indoor Stadium Dumka.  After this, everyone was tested for corona through Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).  All will be kept in the Quarantine Center in Hijla for seven days and after seven days, the covid test will be done again and when the report comes negative, they will be sent to their homes.

The Chief Minister had said that all of them will return to their home soon and today they have come home.

Savitri Turi, who returned from Tamil Nadu, said that she cannot believe that she has reached our home. She said that when contact happened with the Chief Minister, they were told that very soon all of them will be in their homes and now all of us have reached our homes safely without any difficulty.

The Chief Minister has directed the Deputy Commissioner Dumka to provide work to the returned women.  In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner has known about their work from the women and when the situation becomes normal, they will be provided employment on the basis of their skills.
