Nora Fatehi Collaborates with Tanzanian Artist Rayvanny for Cross-Cultural Fusion Track ‘Tetema’

Mumbai – Nora Fatehi has teamed up with renowned Tanzanian singer-songwriter Rayvanny for an exciting global collaboration titled “Tetema.” The track fuses African and Indian musical elements, promising an energetic blend of dance, rhythm, and multilingual appeal.

This vibrant number, described as a high-energy Afro-Bongo fusion, incorporates a unique mix of English, Swahili, and Hindi lyrics. The revamped version is reportedly titled “Oh Mama Tetema,” inspired by Rayvanny and Diamond Platnumz’s original hit.

Unlike previous appearances, Nora will not only feature in the music video but also lend her vocals to the track, adding her signature flair. This marks the duo’s second collaboration after their 2019 viral success, “Pepeta.” The new song will be released under the T-Series label.

Nora Fatehi is known for chart-topping tracks like “Garmi,” “O Saki Saki,” “Ek Toh Kum Zindagani,” “Dance Meri Rani,” and “Dilbar.” She has made her mark across Bollywood, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She began her film career with “Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans” and gained wider recognition with her role as Mia in “Street Dancer 3D” opposite Varun Dhawan.

Internationally, Nora debuted with the single “Dirty Little Secret” alongside Zack Knight. She also appeared in “Bhuj: The Pride of India” portraying a spy named Heena, a role originally intended for Parineeti Chopra. More recently, she starred alongside legendary actress Zeenat Aman in Netflix’s “The Royals,” which also featured Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, and Sakshi Tanwar.

Reflecting on her meeting with Zeenat Aman, Nora shared an emotional post on Instagram:
“This moment was everything! Meeting the ICONIC @thezeenataman and having the honour to chat with her was incredible! She was so kind, so cool, and full of praise for my journey—I was shook! I can’t get over what she said to me!”
